Shape It Powder

To use Shape It Powder:

  1. Cook and puree your food until smooth.
  2. Activate Shape It by bringing the mixture to a boil, then simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour the mixture into a mould, cover, and refrigerate for 2–4 hours or until set.
  4. Store in the fridge or freezer, or serve your beautifully shaped meal.

Shape It Powder uses natural ingredients like agar agar and pectin to bind with moisture in pureed foods, allowing the food to be moulded and hold its shape without changing its taste.

Shape It Moulds

Yes! Shape It Moulds are microwave and oven safe. Consult the Shape It Reheating Guide in our Resources section for more information.

While dishwasher safe, you can also hand wash your Shape It Moulds with warm, soapy water. Avoid harsh or abrasive chemicals, scourers or pointed objects to maintain mould integrity. Dry thoroughly before storing.

Texture Modified Food

The IDDSI framework has 8 levels, ranging from thin liquids to regular foods. Shape It specialises in Level 4 Pureed, helping make food smooth and easy to swallow for people with dysphagia.

IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) is a global system for classifying food textures and drink thicknesses. It helps ensure meals are prepared safely and consistently for people with swallowing difficulties.

Texture-modified food is food that has been changed in texture to make it easier and safer to swallow for people with dysphagia (swallowing difficulties).

Shipping and Handling

If you are located in Australia, your order will normally take between two and seven business days to reach you.

If you are located internationally, please contact us for estimated shipping times.

If our couriers arrive at your address and no-one is available to receive your order, we will either:

  • leave your order in the location you requested (if you have indicated so on your order); or
  • return your order to the depot for re-delivery.

We will notify you by text and/or by email when your order is delivered or returned to the depot. 

If your order needs to be re-delivered, our Customer Experience will contact you to organise an appropriate day for re-delivery.

Yes, all orders over AU$100 are free of shipping and delivery costs.

If you believe your order may be lost in transit, please contact us.  Once we have confirmed your order has been lost, we will replace your missing order with the same order.  You will not be charged shipping costs for the replacement order. 

In the event that some items from your order have become unavailable, you can choose to have us either:

  • refund your account with the full value of the unavailable item(s); or
  • ship you the item(s) once available (if the items are on back order).

If we can’t fulfil your order for any reason, we will contact you via the contact details you provided on your order.  If one or more items on your order are unavailable, you can choose to have us either:

  • refund your account with the full value of the unavailable item(s); or
  • ship you the item(s) once available (if the item(s) is/are on back order).

If your order is missing items that are present on your order receipt or invoice, please call or email our Customer Experience team.  If you have multiple items in an order, they may have been shipped separately. 

We are unable to deliver to a post office box. Please provide a residential or business address for delivery.

We offer shipping to all parts of Australia. 

If you live outside of Australia, we can provide you with a customised shipping quote.  For more information about international shipping, contact our Customer Experience team.

Deliveries will be made during normal business hours Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Yes, the delivery fee for orders under $100 is inclusive of GST. Additionally, orders over $100 qualify for free delivery.

Returns and Exchanges

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our products, we can’t provide refunds if you change your mind or aren’t happy with your purchases.

If any item you’ve purchased is damaged or faulty in some way, please take photos of the damage or fault and immediately contact our Customer Experience team

If you have received damaged items, please contact us within seven (7) days of receiving the items.

If you believe your item may be missing in transit, please contact us within seven (7) days of the order failing to arrive.  All Australian orders should arrive in two to seven days, so, if you haven’t received your order eight (8) or more days after ordering, please contact us immediately.  

No.  Unless the product has been damaged in transit or is faulty in some other way, you can’t return products that have been delivered.   

If you think an item in your order is damaged, please take photos of the item that clearly depict the damage and contact our Customer Experience team

Please don’t discard the damaged products unless our Customer Experience team have advised you to do so.
