  • 500 g Blueberries, fresh
  • 100 g Caster sugar or to taste
  • 4 g Shape It Powder or use Shape It Scoop, see notes

Instructions

Fruit Components

  • Prepare Shaped Sweetened Blueberries (see method below). Allow 2–4 hours to set—best made the night before.
  • Prepare Triple Berry Sauce recipe about 10 minutes before making the porridge, or make it ahead and refrigerate until needed.

Porridge – Stove Top

  • In a saucepan, mix together oats, water, milk and Shape It Powder. Bring to the boil over medium heat.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes or until oats are tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat, add AdVital Powder and puree until smooth.
  • Pour into a serving bowl then swirl in hot Triple Berry Sauce and top with pureed sweetened blueberries. Serve warm.

Porridge – Microwave

  • Mix oats, water, milk and Shape It Powder in a large microwave safe bowl (as oats may boil over).
  • Cook on HIGH (1000W) uncovered for 3 minutes or until mixture starts boiling.
  • Remove from microwave and stir.
  • Cook on HIGH (1000W) for a further 2 minutes or until oats are tender.
  • Remove from microwave, add AdVital Powder and puree until smooth.
  • Pour into a serving bowl then swirl in hot Triple Berry Sauce and top with pureed sweetened blueberries. Serve warm.

Shaped Sweetened Blueberries

  • Place blueberries, sugar and Shape It Powder in a blender or food processor. Puree on high until smooth, scraping down sides as required.
  • Pass pureed blueberries through a fine sieve to remove any seeds.
  • Transfer to a saucepan, bring to the boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer gently for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Lightly spray the Shape It Sliced Fruit Mould or either of the Half Sphere Moulds or line a container with baking paper.
  • Pour the mixture into prepared Shape It Mould or container to desired thickness and spread evenly with a spatula.
  • Cover with Mould Lid or cling film and refrigerate until set.
