  • 750 g Potatoes peeled and chopped into even chunks
  • 150 mL Full cream milk
  • 45 g butter
  • 20 g Shape It Powder or use Shape It Scoop, see notes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • While beef mixture is simmering, cook potato in a saucepan of salted boiling water for 15-20 minutes or until tender. Drain potatoes well and keep warm.
  • Whisk milk, butter and Shape It in a saucepan. Bring to the boil over medium heat then simmer gently for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Place warm potatoes and liquid into food processor, blend until completely smooth.
  • Season to taste and immediately spread potato mixture over lamb mixture, cover with cling film and refrigerate for several hours until set.
  • To Serve, Portion as desired and reheat

  • Before serving, test for IDDSI Level 4 Pureed: To test, use the Spoon Tilt Test and Fork Drip Test. It should be smooth and free of lumps. For more information on IDDSI testing, click here.
